Noah Daniel Baker

Dan made us a Pregnancy chain to help us keep track of the days until Noah was going to come.

After a painful last month of waiting we had a check up on Friday the 11th and at the appointment the doctor said it would be best to be induced Saturday morning so we headed over to the hospital and stayed overnight preparing for the moment. Below you will see our bracelets, Dan's awful bed, and EJ getting ready for the big day. The video tells all.

The next morning the doctor came, broke the water and started EJ on the serious inducing drugs and there was no turning back. It was a long 25 hours, so we got a few videos of what was happening:

We waited around, got EJ the needle, and before we knew it Noah was born at 5:01 PM on the 12th of June weighing 7lbs 13 ounces (just as EJ guessed). Elizabeth did an amazing job and we are both happy that baby Noah is healthy. Isn't he cute?

These next 2 videos are just after the delivery when they were checking his lungs out, giving him a vitamin shot, and doing the official weigh in. He did not like the bright lights one bit.

After all that traumatizing stuff he calmed down and met his mommy, and we got a family pic.

Yep, Noah thinks he is the new CEO of our family.

After the stay at the hospital we got him home, and we will blog other stuff he's been doing soon. Thanks for all your support family and friends. We love you.

Getting Ready for Baby Noah

Top picture is us going for a walk. We stopped at the hockey arena and snapped a pic inside the net, we think Noah will play hockey.

Chilling after the Jazz eliminated the Nuggets, we wish we lived in Utah.

This is Noah at his first Jazz game.
Noah started kicking and moving a ton because it was so loud in the arena.

EJ's 37 week belly in her Sunday dress.

This Picture is EJ's happy pregnancy moment I edited on my iPhone for fun. She looks peaceful... hopefully she is this peaceful during labor too.

This was shot with our new Flip Video we got so we can capture all the good moments with our new baby! The weather in Rexburg is different every day.

April means Spring...right?

When most people think of April, they think early spring, Easter, or even General Conference. Well Mother Nature played a cruel April Fool's joke this year and it look like this....

This is a picture of our front door, pretty funny joke eh?

A lot has happened since the last time we updated our blog 6 months ago. In December Elizabeth finally graduated from BYU Idaho with her B.A in Social Studies Education. She was super excited to finish her student teaching. In a couple of years Dan will be done with his degree as well. He will graduate with an Accounting degree and then go on to get his Master's in Accounting and CPA. We will both be very happy when he is all done school.

Since moving into a new ward we have been given a new calling...sunbeam teachers. The primary in our ward is almost big enough to rival Reid and Lisa's ward, there are 4 nurseries and at least 2 of every other primary class. We have 11 kids in our sunbeams class and needless to say we are spent by the time we get home. Don't let their smiles fool you...

As most of you know we are expecting our first child in June and we are getting both excited and nervous for when the little guy comes. Here are a few pictures of Elizabeth over the last seven months....

This is at 4 months, 5 months, and 6 Months

Hopefully we will be a little quicker in updating our blog next time. That way you all can see pictures of our baby when he comes and not when he is a year old:)
